Hi, I'm Victoria, a freelance medical writer and editor with a passion for Science; I gained my Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Hull, UK, and went on to achieve a Master's degree in Infectious Diseases from the University of London, School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. I am a member of the American Medical Writers Association, the European Medical Writers Association, the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Association of Healthcare Journalists, and the National Libraries of Medicine.

 

I have experience in:

• Copy and substantive editing, encompassing editing of research papers as well as abstracts

• Researching areas in Biological Sciences and Infectious Diseases, including Cichlid fish behavior and malarial drug use 

• Writing systematic literature reviews

• Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and working closely with non-native speakers
